New 6,000 m² assembly bay enters operation

Our new 6,000 m² assembly bay has entered full operation, effectively doubling the floor area available for final assembly and testing.

Until now, large frames and bins had to wait for a testing slot because the assembly floor also served as the pre-shipment test area. The new bay separates the two: assembly runs continuously while testing takes place in a dedicated bay with its own power supply and water connection.

## What this changes for customers

– Standard-build lead times shortened, because assembly no longer queues behind testing
– Loaded running tests can be witnessed more easily, including by buyer-nominated inspectors
– Oversized items such as long conveyor sections can be pre-assembled indoors rather than in the yard
– Better protection for finished machines during the wait for container booking

The bay is equipped with two overhead cranes and a dedicated hydraulic test rig, and it connects directly to the packing area so machines move from test to sea-worthy packing without leaving the building.
